Who We Are

Founded in the summer of 2020, the Henry County Ag Improvement Association (HCAIA) was born from a shared vision of dedicated individuals and families. We aim to create new opportunities for the Henry County communities by establishing a versatile new building structure.

Our current initiative is to showcase the rich agricultural heritage of Henry County by raising the funds needed to construct a state-of-the-art facility on the county fairgrounds. This versatile building will serve as a hub for year-round events, uniting our community and fueling economic growth. Imagine a space that hosts livestock shows, trade expos, educational programs, demonstrations, trainings, weddings, and so much more. Together, we can create a vibrant center that celebrates and supports our community.

This vision was inspired by two key factors: the extensive experience of our founding families in traveling to agricultural and livestock events, which drive local economic growth and community unity, and the recognition of the need for a modern, safe facility in Henry County. Our current facilities are outdated and unsafe, necessitating a new, sustainable building to support year-round events. The HCAIA swiftly launched a grassroots pledge program, generating significant excitement and financial support to construct a versatile event center that benefits all residents without relying on taxpayer money.

Mission

Ultimately, our mission is to provide state-of-the-art facilities that support economic development, enhance community unity, and offer a lasting legacy for future generations. The HCAIA is a dedicated group of volunteers responsible for planning, fundraising, coordinating, and overseeing this project. We are committed to securing the necessary funding and ensuring the successful completion of the new Event Center in Henry County.
